Science and the arts share the goal of understanding the world around us. Integrating science and art provides opportunities for students to construct meaning and demonstrate understanding. Having students create artistic representations of science concepts is a meaningful way to engage all learning types while making learning personal. In this session, participants will explore art activities that will promote deeper understandings in the core science areas of soil science, life cycles, seeds, and pollination.
